Generic Cobra-120

Common Use

The most common use for Cobra-120 tablets is to use it for erectile dysfunction. It helps men struggling with impotence to experience intimacy with their partners. Normally, you would take a tablet of Cobra-120 at least 30 minutes before sexual activity with your partner. You shouldn’t take one any longer than 4 hours before sexual activity with 1 hour before being the most effective.

Do not take Cobra-120 more than one time each day. Depending on what you eat, such as high-fat meals, it can delay the effects of this drug.

Dosage and Directions

One tablet contains 120 mg of Sildenafil, and the packaging normally comes with 5 tablets. You should only take one tablet each day to prevent overdosing on it. Most other tablets only contain 100 mg of Sildenafil, but that’s one of the ways that Cobra-120 differs is that you get 20 mg more. You normally want to take the tablet with a full glass of water because it helps to move the medication into your stomach faster.

Precautions

Before you start taking Cobra-120, you should consult with your doctor to ensure this is the right choice for you. Those who had a recent heart attack should not take Cobra-120 since the drug manufacturers intended this one to be for men without cardiovascular disease. You should also avoid taking sildenafil if you have had a stroke recently.

Those with high blood pressure should also beware of taking sildenafil, and you should be aware of taking medications to lower your blood pressure.

Contraindications

Cobra-120 or sildenafil can interact with several other substances and medications. This includes things, such as:

• Alpha blockers
• Nitrates
• Blood pressure medications

Cobra-120 could also potentially interact with medications that affect liver proteins.

Possible Side Effects

When you take Cobra-120, you could encounter several side effects, but whenever you receive a prescription for this, it means that your doctor judged the risks as worth it. Most people who take sildenafil won’t experience serious side effects. Some of the most common side effects people encounter when taking sildenafil include:

• Headache
• Dizziness
• Upset stomach
• Blurred vision
• Trouble telling green from blue colors apart

To reduce the risk of dizziness and lightheadedness, you might get up from the seated and lying positions slowly.

Some of the most serious side effects that happen rarely include permanent blindness, sudden hearing loss, or ringing in the ears. You should speak with your doctor immediately if you notice any of those symptoms.

Drug Interactions

There are over 359 drugs known to interact with sildenafil. Of those, 101 interactions are major, 254 are moderate, and 4 are minor. You should consult with your doctor since they will be the best equipped to help with this. Things that it could interact with include alcohol and grapefruit juice.

Missed Dose

Provided you happen to miss your dosage, you should take it again at the next usual time. Never take two doses at the same time to make up for the forgotten dose. Those with pulmonary hypertension should take their dosage as soon as they remember it if they forget.

Overdose

Never take too much Cobra-120 because an overdose can be unpleasant. You should speak with your doctor as soon as possible if you took too much and noticed the following side effects:

• Blocked nose
• Changes to your vision
• Dizziness
• Headaches
• Indigestion

Storage

You should store the tablets at room temperature and away from excessive heat and moisture. In particular, don’t store your Cobra-120 tablets in the bathroom since it harbors a lot of moisture. Keep this medication inside of a closed container out of the reach of children. You can also store this in the refrigerator, but do not freeze the tablets. The temperature can range anywhere from 59°F to 86°F.
