Generic Epsolay

Common Use
Epsolay is indicated for the treatment of papules and pustules associated with rosacea in adults. It helps reduce inflammation and the number of visible skin lesions. The medication works by decreasing bacteria and controlling inflammatory processes in the skin.

Dosage and Direction
Epsolay is typically applied once daily to clean, dry skin. Apply a thin layer to the affected areas of the face, avoiding the eyes, lips, and mucous membranes. Wash hands after application and follow your healthcare provider’s instructions carefully.

Precautions
Before using Epsolay, inform your doctor if you have sensitive skin or a history of skin allergies. Mild redness, dryness, or peeling may occur, especially at the beginning of treatment. Avoid excessive sun exposure and use sunscreen while using this medication.

Contraindications
Do not use Epsolay if you are allergic to benzoyl peroxide or any of the product ingredients. It is not recommended for use in children unless prescribed by a healthcare professional.

Possible Side Effects
Common side effects include redness, dryness, peeling, itching, or mild burning at the application site. Rarely, severe skin irritation or allergic reactions may occur. Seek medical attention if swelling, severe rash, or difficulty breathing develops.

Drug Interaction
Epsolay is a topical medication with minimal systemic absorption, so significant drug interactions are unlikely. However, avoid using other potentially irritating topical products (such as retinoids or exfoliants) on the same area unless directed by your doctor.

Missed Dose
If you miss a dose, apply it as soon as you remember. If it is close to the next scheduled dose, skip the missed application and resume your regular routine. Do not apply extra medication to make up for a missed dose.

Overdose
Overuse may cause severe skin irritation, redness, or peeling. In case of accidental ingestion, seek medical attention immediately. Use only the recommended amount.

Storage
Store Epsolay at room temperature, away from heat and direct sunlight. Keep the container tightly closed and out of reach of children. Do not use past the expiration date.
