Common use

Fildena Professional is a sublingual medication used to treat erectile dysfunction (ED) in men. It contains Sildenafil Citrate, a PDE5 inhibitor that enhances blood flow to the penis, helping men achieve and sustain an erection during sexual stimulation. This formulation dissolves under the tongue, allowing for faster absorption and quicker onset of action compared to regular tablets. It is commonly chosen by those seeking rapid results and discreet usage.

Dosage and direction

The usual dose is one sublingual tablet, taken 15–30 minutes before planned sexual activity. The tablet should be placed under the tongue and allowed to dissolve completely without chewing or swallowing whole. It can be taken with or without food, but avoid high-fat meals, which may delay its effect. Do not take more than one tablet per day.

Precautions

Fildena Professional should only be used under the guidance of a healthcare provider, especially in men with heart disease, liver or kidney impairment, or high or low blood pressure. Avoid combining it with alcohol, grapefruit products, or recreational drugs, as these may increase side effects. Patients with a history of vision problems, bleeding disorders, or priapism should use caution. It is not meant for use in women or adolescents.

Contraindications

This medication should not be used by individuals taking nitrate medications or riociguat, due to the risk of severe hypotension. It is also contraindicated in those with known allergies to Sildenafil Citrate or any component of the tablet. Men who have recently experienced a stroke, heart attack, or suffer from retinitis pigmentosa should avoid using this drug. Consult a doctor if you are unsure about any existing health conditions.

Possible side effect

Common side effects include headache, facial flushing, nasal congestion, upset stomach, and dizziness. Some users may also notice mild vision disturbances, such as blurred vision or color tints. Drug interaction

Fildena Professional may interact with nitrates, alpha-blockers, certain antibiotics, antifungals, HIV medications, and other ED treatments. Combining it with alcohol or recreational substances may enhance side effects or reduce its effectiveness. Always inform your doctor of all medications and supplements you're taking. Avoid using other drugs for erectile dysfunction alongside this product.

Missed dose

As Fildena Professional is taken on demand, there is no regular dosing schedule. If a dose is missed before sexual activity, simply take it when needed, ensuring no more than one tablet in 24 hours. Do not take an extra dose to make up for a missed opportunity. Responsible use ensures safe and effective treatment.

Overdose

Overdose symptoms may include severe dizziness, nausea, fainting, irregular heartbeat, or prolonged erections (lasting more than 4 hours). In case of suspected overdose, seek emergency medical attention immediately. Overdosing increases the risk of serious cardiovascular or vision-related complications. Do not exceed the recommended dosage under any circumstances.

Storage

Store the tablets in a cool, dry place at room temperature (20–25°C / 68–77°F), away from heat, moisture, and light. Keep the medication out of reach of children and pets. Do not use the medication past its expiration date. Store in the original blister packaging to preserve quality.
