Common Use

Luzu is used to treat fungal skin infections including athlete’s foot, jock itch, and ringworm. It is applied directly to the affected skin area. The medication helps eliminate the fungus causing the infection. It also reduces associated symptoms like burning and irritation.

Dosage and Direction

Luzu should be used exactly as prescribed by a healthcare provider. It is usually applied once daily to clean, dry skin. Apply a thin layer and gently rub it in. Wash hands after use unless treating the hands.

Precautions

For external use only, avoid contact with eyes, mouth, and mucous membranes. Do not apply to broken or severely irritated skin unless directed by a doctor. If irritation or worsening symptoms occur, discontinue use and consult a healthcare provider. Use caution in children unless approved by a doctor.

Contraindications

Luzu is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to luliconazole or any of its components. It should not be used for infections other than those prescribed. Avoid use on areas not affected by fungal infection. Medical advice is required before use during pregnancy or breastfeeding.

Possible Side Effects

Some users may experience mild skin irritation, redness, or itching at the application site. Burning or stinging sensations may occur temporarily. These side effects are usually mild and short-lived. Seek medical attention if severe reactions develop.

Drug Interaction

Systemic drug interactions are unlikely due to minimal absorption through the skin. However, using other topical products on the same area may increase irritation. Inform your doctor about any other skin medications you are using. Do not combine treatments without medical advice.

Missed Dose

If you miss an application, use Luzu as soon as you remember. If it is close to the next scheduled dose, skip the missed one. Do not apply extra medication to make up for a missed dose. Continue with your regular treatment schedule.

Overdose

Overdose is unlikely when Luzu is used as directed. Excessive application may increase skin irritation. If accidentally swallowed, seek medical attention immediately. Use only the prescribed amount.

Storage

Store Luzu at room temperature away from heat and moisture. Keep the tube tightly closed when not in use. Do not freeze the medication. Keep out of reach of children and pets.
