Generic Orahelp

Common Use
Orahelp gel is used for temporary relief of pain and irritation caused by mouth ulcers, canker sores, and gum inflammation. It also helps soothe discomfort associated with dentures, braces, and minor oral injuries. The gel is applied directly to the affected area for fast‑acting relief.

Dosage and Direction
Use a small amount of Orahelp gel and apply it gently to the affected oral area with a clean fingertip or cotton swab. It is typically applied 3–4 times per day or as directed by a healthcare provider. Avoid swallowing the gel and do not eat or drink immediately after application to maximize effectiveness.

Precautions
Before using Orahelp, inform your doctor if you have allergies to salicylates or local anaesthetics. Do not apply to open wounds or broken skin and avoid contact with eyes or nasal mucosa. Consult a healthcare provider if symptoms persist beyond seven days.

Contraindications
Do not use Orahelp if you are allergic to choline salicylate, lidocaine (lignocaine), or any other ingredients in the gel. It should be avoided in individuals with a known allergy to salicylates or local anesthetics. Use in children under 16 should only be under medical guidance.

Possible Side Effects
Common side effects may include a mild burning, redness, or itching sensation at the application site. Rare allergic reactions like swelling or rash can occur. If severe or persistent discomfort arises, stop use and consult a healthcare provider.

Drug Interaction
Orahelp is unlikely to interact significantly with systemic medications due to its topical use. However, caution is advised if you are taking other salicylate‑containing products or anticoagulants, as topical salicylates can theoretically contribute to systemic effects in large amounts. Inform your doctor of all medications and supplements you use.

Missed Dose
If an application is missed, apply Orahelp gel as soon as you remember. Do not double the amount to compensate for a missed application. Resume your normal application schedule thereafter.

Overdose
Overdose from Orahelp gel is unlikely but excessive application may lead to salicylate toxicity (e.g., dizziness or ringing in the ears). Seek immediate medical attention if signs of overdose occur. Avoid ingesting the gel.

Storage
Store Orahelp gel below 30 °C in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Keep the tube tightly closed and out of reach of children and pets. Do not use the gel beyond its expiration date.
