Generic Stalevo (Carbidopa/Entacapone/Entacapone)

Common use
Stalevo is a combination medication used to treat Parkinson’s disease and Parkinson-like symptoms. It contains Carbidopa, which helps prevent the breakdown of levodopa before it reaches the brain, and Entacapone, which further extends the effectiveness of levodopa by inhibiting its breakdown in the body. This combination helps improve motor symptoms associated with Parkinson’s disease.

Dosage and direction
Stalevo is typically taken 3 to 4 times a day with food to reduce stomach upset. The exact dosage is individualized based on the patient's condition and response to treatment. Your doctor will determine the appropriate dose of Stalevo based on your needs and may adjust the dose over time.

Precautions
Before using Stalevo, inform your doctor if you have any history of liver disease, heart disease, or low blood pressure. Contraindications

Missed dose
